MagSpin
4.8(32 reviews)Magnetic CNC window wiper - clears coolant from the inside of your machine window in seconds. No wiring, no motor, no drilling.
Fitment note
The MagSpin wiper wheel extends approximately 0.5" (12.7 mm) from the mounting surface.
Because of its profile, MagSpin may not fit CNC lathes or machines where the door slides inward into a pocket or against a recessed door seal.
Built for the way you actually run parts.
MagSpin uses magnetic coupling to transfer rotation through the CNC window. The two halves simply attach to opposite sides of the window and are held securely in place by powerful magnets. Turn the handle from the outside, and magnetic coupling transfers the torque through the glass to the rubber wiper on the inside - clearing coolant and restoring visibility instantly. No wiring. No motor. No holes. No permanent modification to the machine. Attach it in seconds. Turn the handle. See the cut.
Applications
- CNC milling
- CNC turning
- High-coolant machining
- Production monitoring
- Setup and first-article inspection
Industrial performance without the industrial price.
MagSpin delivers a simple solution for CNC visibility at a fraction of the cost of high-end automated window-cleaning systems - up to 5× less expensive. More visibility. Less downtime. A dramatically simpler machine.

MagSpin - questions & answers
- What is MagSpin?
- MagSpin is a magnetic CNC window wiper. Two halves attach to opposite sides of your machine window and are held in place by powerful magnets. Turning the outside handle transfers torque magnetically through the glass to a rubber wiper on the inside, clearing coolant in seconds.
- How does MagSpin work?
- MagSpin uses magnetic coupling to transfer rotation through the CNC window. Stick both halves onto the window, turn the handle from the outside, and the inside wiper sweeps coolant away - restoring visibility instantly. No wiring, no motor, no holes.
- Does MagSpin require drilling or modification?
- No. MagSpin is held entirely by magnetic force. There are no holes, no drilling, and no permanent modification to the machine. It installs in seconds and can be repositioned or removed at any time.
- Does MagSpin need power or wiring?
- No. MagSpin is fully mechanical and manually operated. There is no electrical wiring, no control box, and no motor to fail.
- What window thicknesses does MagSpin fit?
- MagSpin works with CNC window thicknesses from 1/8" to 3/8" (3 - 10 mm), which covers most vertical machining centers and lathes.
- How much does MagSpin cost?
- MagSpin is $299 USD - up to 5× less expensive than automated window-cleaning systems such as RoboClear, which typically cost $1,500 or more and require installation.
- Is MagSpin built for coolant environments?
- Yes. MagSpin is designed for harsh coolant environments, with a sealed magnetic drive and a replaceable rubber wiper blade.
- Who makes MagSpin?
- MagSpin is designed and manufactured by Globegrip, a US-based workholding and CNC accessory company, and ships with a standard workmanship warranty.
